Hi all, After importing (through Kino) and editing a 16:9 DV project in Cinelerra (Cinelerra 2.1CV), I tried to render/export the project to a DV file in 16:9 format -- but this latter consistently fails. The resulting DV file is interpreted as 4:3 by all applications I tried (Kino, several players).
After some research, it appears that this is indeed a Cinelerra bug: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg07321.html Apparently, the aspect ratio information is missing from the DV header. My questions: - Is there a (simple) way to reinsert the aspect ratio header in a DV file? - If not, are the DV header specifications somewhere to be found?
