Initially the installtion would report the error;
Setting up cinelerracv (2.1.1-git20090428akirad3) ...
cannot open locale definition file `de_DE': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing cinelerracv (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 4
Synaptic would report the error suggesting to fix the problem by running;
sudo apt-get install -f
This would never resolve the issue.
Trying to remove the package with;
sudo apt-get purge cinelerracv
Would then throw out the following error;
The following packages will be REMOVED
cinelerracv
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
1 not fully installed or removed.
After this operation, 22.8MB disk space will be freed.
