We have been testing Ardour indeed, and plan to use it as well in future
stages of the project since it works nicely with Blender as well.
It would be interesting if Cinelerra could handle Jack inputs as well.
BTW does anybody know how to handle Panning keyframes ? apparently there
is no way to actually see them in the timeline as to edit them.

I would like to know if there are plans to include some sort of
tree/folder feature for Resources to help organizing stuff. If not, we at
the studio might be able to start working on such a feature, but I'm
reluctant to start working on something it's already on its way.
I heard many people dreaming of this feature but none wanting to
implement that.
