As far as I know, there is still no BD-video authoring and imaging tools for Linux. I.e with Nero 9 for Windows it should be possible to edit and author Blu-ray Disc content, rip and burn High Definition content to Blu-ray Discs and burn ones own HD content to Blu-ray Disc.

I myself have a Blu-Ray burner on my workstation, but can only burn video files as UDF computer files with Nero Linux 3.5. Not even the new Nero Linux 4.0 looks to have such BD-video tools available.

Does somebody here know of other free or commersial BD-video tools for Linux?

Might an external, dedicated Blu-Ray recorder be an option to create BD-video disks from both camcorder and computer edited HD(V) video?
