Hi!
The same result could be because you are using the same (default)
configuration file for all the different versions.
By default though, the video assets are visible on the timeline.
As Hermann said, make sure you have the asset display enabled in the
View Menu ("Show Assets").
I think it is more likely that your file is an image file. Then it is
imported as a single frame, so thin to be hardly visible.
I see your timeline displays 3.36.405 minutes (bottom left of the
program window).
Your picture could be *very* thin.
Zoom in time (arrow down) to look for this frame.
You can either trim the frame to lengthen the edit or (better) reload
your picture after having set the duration it is going to have on the
timeline in Settings -> Preferences -> Recording - Images.
Check the option "Import images with a duration of … seconds" and enter
the desired length.

PS: cinelerra swtc is not an application. It's a collection of images
that cinelerra uses for the Shape Wipe transitions. It's a great package
to improve your video transitions!
