I made a quick test. At least render selection without compression made some files. Exrdisplay showed picture but colors were pale. I am not sure if it is a problem of cinelerra or exrdisplay. The latter has some displaying problems too. May be cinelerra does not set all needed parameters for exr rendering. Needs investigation. Tested on my latest git.
