If you hold the left mouse down and drag the mouse you can zoom in and out that way. You can select the camera axis in the view menu and see the line. From there you can add keyframes and push/pull them to zoom pan etc. I animate camera moves on still frames that way all the time. Hope that's helpful.

The zoom now is in discrete steps with the + and - buttons. I would like a infinit zoomfunction controlled by the scrollwheel of the mouse. I also would like an effect "automatic zoom" in the motion tracker. This in such a way that my subject stays on screen at the same size even when it is closing in or going away. Or to compensate for wrong zoom actions while making the
video. If such a feature is possible that really would be awesome.
