The normal thing would be to use a program to view webcam on the screen (such
as vlc) and putting that window to "always on top".

That way you can make a video of the computer screen, taking in a corner of
the window where we see.

Everything is done live, so the issue would be for other reasons, such as
making music, or make a cut in a very long video to make it shorter.
