Cinelerras quality level is just 'Works for me'. So you have to find out how to use it without hanging and crashing. The current state of cinelllera is well described in todays mail from Ichthyostega. I started hacking of Cinelerra almost 5 years ago. The reason was: it hanged on loading my day before saved project. I was interested if it is possible to fix locking problems in such a complex program. The next goal is to clean up the sources to make futher enchancements simpler. Information abount Cinelerra internals you can find only in source.
