Hi Kanzer, either you don't have any libavcodec.so at all or the cinelerra package was built with a different version of libavcodec than the one on your system.
Look inside /usr/lib or /usr/local/lib for any libavcodec.so* ...if you don't find any, try to install a package libavcodec52 (this package is in ubuntu repositories, but I don't know if it is also in slackware's...maybe it could be a part of ffmpeg package). Or you can compile cinelerra from source.
