Hello I use ubuntu studio 10,04 works well. I was mandriva before also but i quit the systeme en 2008 since I'm with ubuntu. At the beginning I was using every upgrade but now I use only the LTS versions. It's better more stable to work. I installe normal version before then upgrade to studio version. Goodluck haldun
