Hi, I am a Director cum editor for a children feature film movie. I have done 3 children movie with my dad doing script work and now we have finished editing voice over process of our 4th film entirely with Canon HDSLR as supposed to Arri Negative done previously. And this project is being editing with cinelerra and planing to do color correction with Blender. My workflow is,,
1) editing the proxy footage as usual (specifying 24fps for project setting but original is 23.97 which doesn't matter i think) 2) giving the same file name in Reel_name column for each and every shots in the resource folder (as my color correction tool blender doesn't automatically recognize the associated files of the scene and which has to be manually selected) 3) exporting EDL and importing them in blender for further color correction and others. The problem with Cinelerra export of EDL is it gives each and every shot the same Reel name as "cin0000". But if cinelerra exported the file name in the place of REEL_NAME="cin0000" as REEL_NAME="MVI_0002.MOV" my job would be easier. Is there any tool to do this stuff? Or any XML related tool which automatically takes the file name of the shot and fill the REEL_NAME field? Hope i am clear and my english isn't that good.
