Well I did as you told. I've made one mistake. That was not to put grandma's list of librarires with yours. which showed a conflict between libjpeg8-dev and libjpeg62dev. When i removed libjpeg8-dev it compiled well. !!! Yahouuuuu my first compliation on two pc's Thank you a lot for helping me on that. Regarding the faad issue, you need the -dev package: it's the one that contains the libraries used during compilation.
