What protocol should I use to suffer the least quality loss possible?

I have projects shot in HDV (60i) and DV (NTSC)

I edit with Cinelerra-CV 2.2, which configures by default formats projects in "YUVA-8 bit".

I want to get a master assembly with the least possible loss, which I then used to generate ProRes versions, WebM, MPEG-4 and DVD.

I know I could use "YUV4MPEG Stream", but I woud need to configure "ffmpeg" by command line ... and that is too complex for me.

I intend rather to make rendered as "Quicktime for Linux" to "YUV 4:2:0 Planar" with soundtracks in "WAV", then convert graphic mode with EKD-SVN to ProRes, WebM, MPEG-4 and DVD

Is this the best choice I can do to minimize the loss of quality of image and sound when rendered?

Pierre
