Hello CIRC Teams,
As a reminder all teams are required to provide their own transportation,
and their own ability to transport their rover between task sites. It is
not walking distance between task sites. Additionally CIRC does not have
the capacity to provide shuttles between sites.
For all teams that may be shipping their rover, or key components here are
some notes if you are intending to ship directly to the event center. For
those that are flying into Calgary, in the past many teams have arranged
for their rover or equipment to be picked up at a logistics center in
Calgary prior to driving out to Drumheller.
For those that are intending to ship their rover or equipment directly to
the event center, below is some key information:
- Deliveries should not arrive prior to Monday August 4th.
- The facility does not have dock level unloading, so all deliveries
that are crates/pallets must be delivered on trucks with a lift gate
- All deliveries should go to the attention of "CIRC" and your team name
on them so the facility knows it is for the competition and who it belongs
to
- The facility does have individuals that can sign for it
