Could be unidirectional errors causing packet loss at the Level3 router. Also could be load on their router. Since their router is generating the notification and tearing down the session, a call to their NOC asking why it is happening is a good place to start. Also check the stats in "sh ip bgp sum" or "sh ip bgp nei" for retransmits as a sign of potential packet loss toward/at their router: Datagrams (max data segment is 1440 bytes): Rcvd: 6821664 (out of order: 0), with data: 3928262, total data bytes: 74637207 Sent: 7024220 (retransmit: 28666 fastretransmit: 0),with data: 3839407, total data bytes: 73203578 - -- ========= bep -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.4 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGJkVAE1XcgMgrtyYRAoI3AKCxMcvzj+5UiMb4UyUOnb2akNhttgCgumme 3J2L2GDQh+kVFE25LetCRGs= =dGQ1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list [email protected] https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
