We've seen disk corruption on 1/4th of our fwsm's. The symptom we saw was that 'write mem' didn't actually write to disk. We found it via script that happened to compare timestamps on the filesystems between active/standby modules. This was on 2.3(something). We got a bug filed. Last I heard the plan was to fix 'write mem' so you would get an error message rather than addressing the filesystem problems.
