Cat3550 has a MaxAged LSA in its OSPF database. Either 1) or 2) would be executed to flush "to-be-Maxaged" LSAs. 1) "clear ip ospf process" at the isolated box before link up. 2) Leave the box more than 70min. so that it can flush them automatically.
