All, I recently discovered the quite comprehensive coverage of both the entPhysicalTable and CISCO-ENTITY-SENSOR mib. In particular, a vast array of the sensors on our 6500s are exposed through it...
...but only on the 4.4 hw revision. The newer sups, on 5.4 hw revision, appear to omit a whole load of sensors from the MIB. This is on identical software versions (SXF10).
