Hi, another quick and dirty solution is may be the use of 2924M + WS-X2961XL atm modules whith this boxes you can map vc´s to vlans residing on the 2924M´s
i don´t think that bridging with irb on 7200´ boxes is a good idea... regards Clemens > -----Original Message----- > From: Clayton Zekelman [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, September 26, 2007 4:09 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [c-nsp] Bridging ATM PVCs to VLANs > > > We have a customer who wants to upgrade from an ATM-DS3 > access to an Ethernet access from our network. > > We currently deliver around 80 PVCs to them on the DS3 > (Bridged 1483), and want to convert these to VLANs. > > We were going to come from our Ethernet network into a 7206 > with ATM and Ethernet interfaces on it. > > The quick and dirty solution would to be to set up sub > interfaces on the ATM and Ethernet interface, and set up > individual bridge groups.
