Hi, I have here a 1841 with IOS:
My schema here is: VPN3000 <> DSL Router (doing NAT) <> Windows Server PC as PPTP client (NAT) <> LAN Yeah, I know 2 boxes doing NAT, some ports and gre protocol forwarded to the windows server... no commments :-P Well, the plan is to replace the DSL router and the windows pc with the 1841 working as PPTP client of the vpn3000. I have this configuration loaded: ! vpdn-group 1 request-dialin protocol pptp rotary-group 0 initiate-to ip 1.1.1.1 pptp tunnel echo 10 ! interface Dialer0 ip address 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.240 ip pim dense-mode ip nat outside ip virtual-reassembly encapsulation ppp dialer in-band dialer idle-timeout 0 dialer string 123 dialer vpdn dialer-group 1 keepalive 7200 no cdp enable ppp pfc local request ppp pfc remote apply ppp encrypt mppe auto ppp chap hostname supervpn ppp chap password xxxxxxx For some reason -no idea yet- the connection seems to run, but, after the dialer0 is UP and the VI1 is UP, 2 or 3 seconds later, the VI1 comes DOWN. Is anyone here with experience with this configuration?
