some pcmcia based cards aare referred as disk0 some slot0. If your
card is disk0 then you can not referred to it as slot0. As far as I
understand the process that are different ways to access the physical
drive.
So the card formatted as disk0 should be used like this
eg.
copy tftp disk0:
boot system flash disk0:image.bin

etc.
