[c-nsp] SNMP MIB question

 Hi,

 

We have been doing snmpwalk's on 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.6

to get the interface index.

 

snmpwalk responds with the following output.

 

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.6.1 = "FastEthernet0/0"

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.6.2 = "Ethernet1/0"

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.6.3 = "Ethernet1/1"

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.6.4 = "Ethernet1/2"

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.6.5 = "Ethernet1/3"

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.6.6 = "Serial0/0"

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.6.9 = "FastEthernet0/0.1"

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.6.10 = "FastEthernet0/0.41"

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.6.11 = "FastEthernet0/0.42"

The Cisco SNMP Object Navigator says that the parent node
(".1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1") is "cdpInterfaceEntry", 

which has the following 5 sub-entries:

 

  1. (".1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.1") cdpInterfaceIfIndex

  2. (".1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.2") cdpInterfaceEnable

  3. (".1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.3") cdpInterfaceMessageInterval

  4. (".1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.4") cdpInterfaceGroup

  5. (".1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.1.1.1.5") cdpInterfacePort

 

There is no entry for "6".  If this an offical mib entry we can count
on?
