Is anybody replacing the LS 1010 with new ATM switches for simple ATM PVC mapping? What have you found to replace them with?
We have 4 on our network and a couple of others in other state agencies. I believe Cisco has slated these guys for EOL in 2011, regardless of that ours are getting some age on them and are due for replacement. I have not found a suitable replacement, we are very happy with the functionality the LS 1010 provides us and would like to find a similar box both in size and functionality. All we are doing with the boxes is cross connecting ATM PVC's on either OC3 or OC12's then shipping those OCX's out the door or to router interfaces.
