Hi,
I've got a 2811 running IOS 12.4(19) (advanced IP services).
All four interface card slots are populated with WICs (two WIC-1DSU-T1-V2
and two WIC-1ADSL). We want to add another data T1 card to the unit and are
thinking of using the network module slot.
We have a NM-HDV2-1T1/E1 we could plug in. I'm pretty sure this can be
configured to carry data communications.
Am I right? As far as I can tell from
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_3t/12_3t7/feature/guide/hdd_vfnm.html
I need to issue the command
card type t1 1 1
and then go from there to configure the controller, etc.
I don't think I need the "network-clock-participate" command because the
NM-HDV2-1T1/E1 already has its own built-in PVDM2-32 and PVDM2-48 cards,
according to a "show diag," and we're going to do data, not voice.
Can anyone tell me if I'm on the right track?
