I'd strongly encourage anyone to go for SRB3 and later. We had a huge bug fix push on the SRB throttle after SRB2 and it's been extremely stable and that is where we are enouraging customers to go.
There were a lot of changes to BFD in the SRB timeframe for a lot of bugs.
