The good thing about Linux is that there are no shortage of tutorials related to many different topics. If you are having trouble with a specific application, you can usually find a tutorial via Google that will walk you through a basic setup and even some common problems.
If you are dealing with specific Linux distros with your clients, picking up a book on that distro may be helpful. One book I keep around is "TCP/IP Network Administration" from O'Reilly. It is geared towards Unix system admins, but much of the content ports over to Linux. - Chris > Date: Wed, 28 Jan 2009 12:33:03 +0000 > From: Felix Nkansah <[email protected]> > Subject: [c-nsp] Linux for Cisco Engineers Tutorials? > To: [email protected] > Message-ID: > <[email protected]> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 > > Hi Team, > Been having to battle with linux/unix servers at some of my client sites of > late. > > I should be glad if any of you could refer me to a good link that teaches > linux networking with a Cisco networking background assumed. > > (I am not referring to tutorials that teach Linux stuff using GUI :-) > > Thanks, > > Felix > > ccie r&s, security _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list [email protected] https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
