One of our core routers was upgraded to 12.4.23 a few hours ago, and since the upgrade, we have been seeing the following message in our log files.
Mar 27 23:32:15.570 EDT: bgp_cpu2timeout: seconds: 30000, slot: 3 for 5: 51% and 1: 27% I can't really find any specific references to this error message on the 7500 anywhere on the net, but I did see someone posting here about having the issue on a 7206-VXR.
