I have GSR's that don't (and probably will never) support v6-HSRP/VRRP or weighted RA's so I kludged it by anycasting the gateway address from my two core routers. It's not pretty, but it does work, albeit it takes about 20 seconds to fail over. interface GigabitEthernet0/0.9 encapsulation dot1Q 9 ip address <v4 address> no ip redirects no ip directed-broadcast ipv6 address <v6 address>::1/64 anycast ipv6 address <v6 address>::2/64 ipv6 enable ipv6 nd ra-interval 3 ipv6 nd ra-lifetime 5 ipv6 nd suppress-ra Regards, Mike _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list [email protected] https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
