Correct, but you will not see the IP address of the sender, just servers
that belong to facebook.

My guess is that you will not see the IP address of the sender when you
receive a message through Facebook. Facebook doesn't present full message
headers on messages that are sent through the website. Since all
communication happens through the website, that provides a layer of
abstraction if Facebook/Myspace/insert_portal_here chooses not to reveal the
sender's IP address to you.
