This is basically what we do for PAgP based inter-DC L2 trunks. Our core devices at each location provide a set of port-based PW's and our agg switches run PAgP over the individual circuits as per normal. Just remember to run UDLD from end-to-end on the kit connecting to the VC ports so you pick up a link failure at the far end.
