Our anycasted servers run Quagga and have a BGP session with the edge routers in the network. All machines serving the same anycast address use the same (private) AS, different from the core AS. The advertise one or more host routes. It works like a charm. When you need to service a machine you just stop the BGPd and do your thing, nobody notices.
