Hi all, as a follow-up to the thread about this topic last year[1], I wanted to ask with what memory configuration and carving options people are running their 4GE-SFP-LC (4 port Edge Engine3 Gigabit Ethernet) line cards these days. IPv4 routes keep on increasing quickly and IPv6 is picking up as well.
If possible, we would like to future-proof our existing hardware before it gets cycled out during upgrades.
