Due to budget constraints I have one IDSM-2 card with IPS 7.0 and valid service contract. Initially I was going to install one each in two 6509 switches with Sup720-3BXL cards. Can I in theory monitor vlan traffic from both switches on one IDSM-2 card installed in one of the switches? The switches are in the same vtp domain.
