Habe a look at G.983.1 "Broadband optical access systems based on
Passive Optical Networks (PON)"

Its not exactly describing point to point FTTH but for other access
protocols.

For 1.25GBit/s and single fiber "Diplex" it defines the Downstream
optical Window as 1480-1500 - See Page 23.

The following pages define a Window of 1260-1360 for the Upstream
direction.

This matches GPON which uses 1490 for Downstream and 1310 for Upstream.
