I am after a basic switch but it need to be DC powered. Something like
a 2960 would be more than good enough. Would the lowest cost Cisco
option be the ME-3400E-24TS-M with DC supplies? Requirements are layer
2, ~24 ports and dc power.
I did get a quote for one of these and the first DC power supply was
listed as ME34X-PWR-DC and the second as ME34X-PWR-DC-R, but the second
one costs 3 x as much - is there something special about the second PS
in this model?
