Aha! Very interesting. Yes, we are running 15.2(4)M3 on the 2921 that reports 1GB RAM, and "show platform" confirms that
Size of dimm = 512 Megabytes The new 2921 that reports an accurate 512MB RAM in the "sh ver" is running 15.2(4)M5. Thanks for sharing your experience; seems like mystery resolved. -----Original Message----- From: cisco-nsp [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Klaus Kastens Sent: Thursday, February 27, 2014 11:28 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [c-nsp] 2921 RAM? Most likely you are running different IOS versions. We had several 2901 with apparently 1 GB RAM. This was fixed to 512 MB after updating from 15.2(4)M3 to 15.2(4)M4. IIRC you can see the actual DIMM size via "sh platform".
