No, I think you misunderstood me :-) - I was fully expecting this feature
to be non-available on 6500 and the IOS SX train.  Like so many other
bad things that happened to Cisco customers due to the 6500/7600 BU split,
and subsequent non-coordinated IOS development.

So I'm positively surprised to find this command in my IOS train, though 
I have not tested yet whether it actually works.
