Ok, that was important information.
This is why I asked, what if upstream providers filter based on AS+prefix. Could we ask them to accept same prefix from two different origin ASs for a short time ? What are your suggestions ?
I would contact my upstream just like you say, and also add their new AS to the route-object so the route-object has two ASes mentioned in it.
