Hi all,
Sent this note off to NANOG, and got some positive feedback, but only from one person; thought I would try here, too, since it is Cisco specific. Basically just trying to find out if anyone has used this product: http://www.liveaction.com/ Cisco seems to tout it: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/solutions/enterprise-networks/intelligent-wan/i ndex.html (scroll down) We're evaluating it as a way to manage customer bandwidth utilization on our service provider network. To me, it looks like an affordable alternative to deploying extremely expensive bandwidth management appliances. It's centrally managed on a VM, and I like that it does not impose scalability limitations like some bandwidth management vendors who charge every time you want to push more bandwidth through their devices. The feedback I've received so far is that on a 200 WAN-router deployment, it works like a charm. Our particular use case will be much smaller. Interested in whether anyone else has rolled it out and how their experience has been. Thanks, Adam _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list [email protected] https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
