Perhaps not hardware - more of an accurate representation of bandwidth. -the 
concept of bandwidth on GNS3 just doesn't seem to operate correctly. 
I have only done the optimised edge routing in INE labs on GNS3, and it would 
not collect the data properly, even at very very low bandwidths, and the same 
was true of qos.  

Both work fine on the CSRv

There is not much hardware to be programmed in a 3640 or 7200, be it real or 
virtual.

QoS needs something with "limited bandwidth" to work on, hard to do on a purely 
virtual interface unless you wrap a shaper around it.
