Which CSR version ? I'm running couple of CSR s1000V in production and LAB (all in few different versions). Never had problems like you mentioned. But I'm always deploying on ESXi, although it shouldn't be important as VM Workstation should be also supported. Did you deployed CSR from OVA ?
