What I've heard (and I think it is getting pushed to the wiki soon) is it's
specific to CUCM 8.0 and 8.5, but not 8.6+. So ESXi 4.1+ on 8.0 or 8.5 CUCM
needs to turn off LRO. I believe it's related to the RHEL upgrade
associated with 8.6. Unsure on other apps. I would probably turn it off
since it's unlikely to cause performance gains for UC apps anyway.

CUCM 8.6 doesn't need to have LRO Disabled. Wiki will be updated soon. This
info is strictly for CUCM only.

basically it was a vmware bug :

with ESXi 5.0 I've had no performance issues on UC apps so far, but for peace
of mind I still disable it?

Just the plastic cover that goes over the battery. I can't find it on the

As far as I know it's specifically not. There is a discussion in the partner
community over this and a PM responsible for the area has said it's in the
works but no ETA (as usual) He is also looking for feedback on reasons to push
the approval forward.
https://communities.cisco.com/thread/29156 if you are a partner there it is.

You could try http://www.cmsc.com/ they normally have the parts that I use.
You?ll either need to use the chat, e-mail their sales department, or call
them. They normally don?t show their parts lists on the website.

Anyone know where I can order a replacement cover for a 7925 WiFi phone? Just
the plastic cover that goes over the battery. I can't find it on the price list
that I have access to, if it's even possible.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Intermittent Audio delay between a Mitel 3300 /
        Cisco CUBE

Throwing this out in hopes that someone's seen something similar.

We have a SIP trunk coming into a CUBE which is then passing calls onto a
Mitel 3300 via SIP. What we're seeing intermittently is delayed audio when
the inbound calls to the Mitel are answered. Doesn't happen on every call
but the call will connect once the mitel handset goes off hook, but audio
doesn't kick in for up to 6 seconds. In other calls using the same
external endpoint calling in, the audio is immediately connected.

I've primarily only had access to the Cisco CUBE so far, debugs on the
Mitel will be generated by another company which I'll look over once
received. Anyone seen this kind of issue in the field?

Thanks

Nathan

With SRST, I know you can force the call to be rerouted back out the pstn to
the pilot number so that voicemail is available at a remote site, during srst.
Is there any mechanism so that MWI is triggered for the remote site phones?

After calling Nuance for compatibility between Nuance Speech Attendant and CUCM
v9, we were simply told, "it's not". Not sure if anyone out there is also
running the Speech Attendant software, but thought I would share that.

Aren't pre-release versions made available to partners and developers so they
can test this stuff out ahead of FCS dates?

I just find it odd that they didn't even share a roadmap, bugs or anything.

Comments? Thoughts?
