Hi all
I need an advice about PRI interface and multicasting.
Is there a way to setup a router with PRI and DSP modules, so the it will
multicast all traffic received from the PRI to two central log servers.
It for emergency call that has to be logged and I need to log on to servers at
the same time.
These servers are able to connect to multicast streams.
/Arne

Here?s a dumb question?since those servers can subscribe to a multicast, can
they also do a packet capture? If so, why not go that route?

Or why not fork the unicast RTP to them?

I think that is how they do it for mediasense:

Mediaforking is supported in 15.2(1)
Media Forking
A major new feature in this release is media forking, which provides
network-based duplication of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) media and
signaling packets for real-time recording of voice conversations. Media forking
allow customers greater choice when it comes to recording architectures for
compliance needs. Customers will now be able to move the role of packet
duplication for media calls from a dedicated appliance or a port span solution
into a "smart recording" solution where the network is aware of which calls to
fork.

Thanks a lot for your input. I think that the forking might do the trick, I'll
give it a try.
