Anyone used spec based and run into any production issue?
Spec based requires vsphere server to monitor performance, so far i didn't
sell any solution based on that. Just worried that client will run into any
issue due to IOPS.

Here in the United States, there appear to be a number of BYOB
providers; bandwidth.com, Packet8, Broadvox, etc.
Is anyone aware of similar providers in UK that they like?
Googling "Sip Trunk UK" has come up with:
Hipcom
Damovo
Aloha Connect
and others that I'm still going through.
Any experiences, good / bad?
Thanks.

As far as I know, the licenses are not store in the configuration. They are
keys that must be uploaded. If you have a store "show license" output or
something, that would be helpful. You'd have to contact [email protected] to
get the new licenses.
On the last four occasions, when I ordered CUE modules, no licenses were
provided to me. I had to contact licensing each time to send me the files for
the purchase. I believe there's a way to extract them, but I went with the file
the team sent me.
If you have the original invoice, that would help too. Usually, your purchasing
department holds on to stuff like that if you haven't.
Hope that helps,
Lelio

yes, unfortunately, licenses are not-transferable. they remain with the CUE
module themselves. the module you replaced it with should have it's own
licenses though. that might be an option.
and because the modules are EOL, i'm not sure you can buy more. :(

Yeah, unfortunately noone has the original purchasing information. To make
things worse the original module wasn't on Smartnet so we just replaced the
module so because we didn't go through the RMA process TAC won't rehost the
licenses.
At this point I am not sure I have any options.

It?s version 7.1 and higher they enforce the license. 7.0 and lower you can
download from Cisco.com with the right access and on your honor you?ve bought
licenses.

Subject: [cisco-voip] AIM-CUE licenses
Are the license files stored in the backup (configuration or data) of the CUE
module?
I have a AIM-CUE that failed and was replaced, performed a restore from a
previous backup, but now I don't have any licenses.
Is there a way to pull the licenses from the old configuration?
Thanks!
