IIRC, the 7942 has a setting for wideband handset. Maybe this is set to something that doesn’t match the handset that’s actually connected?

It's almost as if the voume for the mic is way down, or barely working. I have checked their phone, nothing blocking the mic area. Just wondering is there is some sort of setting I should be aware of or if I should replace the phone. Thanks. Dave
