That's an issue I see on IE all the time. If I go into my defect tracking system with IE I can wait up to 3 minutes for the full page to appear. Same page with Mozilla or Chrome = no issues.

I've found that occasionally certain browsers won't load certain pages (IE has been notorious for this for me).
