I would assume that is a fair assessment that CAD will be phased out. There is a decent white paper on the differences between CAD and Finesse here http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/customer-collaboration/unified-contact-center-express/white-paper-c11-730883.pdf (It's slightly out of date for 10.6).
