According to the documentation (Jabber Parameters Guide), we cannot disable the mapping for the OtherPhone field. Additionally, nor can we rename it to something like "Video" or whatever.
Anyway, I just tried doing this: map it to an invalid field in AD, and it seems to work as a disable. Can anyone comment on this approach, and if they've used it successfully? Example (note the underscore at the end of the name to invalidate it): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <config version="1.0"> <Directory> <!-- Removes the OtherPhone mapping from Jabber for Windows --> <OtherPhone>otherTelephone_</OtherPhone> </Directory> </config>
