Just wanted to throw an FYI out there for people. I just ran into this, and it's a mess.
Short Answer. Cisco has EOS'd the GLC-T modules (today), and replaced it with the GLC-TE (They increased the operational temperatures) Now the bad news. The GLC-TE's are not on the compatibility matrix for the 3750X. Cisco makes no claim they work. Worse news. The GLC-TE's are on the compatibility matrix for the 3850, but with a software release that is not publicly available. Speaking with my account team, the BU stated they have no plans to do any testing with the 3750X. Short answer, for the lack of a SFP, you might have to buy a new switch if your operational parameters require you to match Vendor specifications. (We do) The 3850, I was given a software release (Everest-16.5.1a) that hit CCO today as being compatible.(although this disagree's with the SFP compatibility matrix requirement of XE 16.6.1)
